For how long after releases are bug fixes applied to Bladed versions?

Bladed versions receive bug fixes according to two periods: "long term support" and "short term support".
- Long term support (LTS) versions receive relevant bug fixes for at least 2 years from release. The maintenance expiry dates for recent versions are listed below.
- Short term support (STS) versions only receive relevant bug fixes until the next major version release (STS or LTS).

Bladed 4.11 and older no longer receive bug fixes.
When to use STS or LTS versions:
LTS versions receive bug fixes for some years, often covering the full duration of a design project.
STS versions only receive bug fixes until the next major version is released. STS versions can be used for design work, with the knowledge that the user will need to upgrade to the next STS or LTS version once it is released in order to access bug fixes.
Why did Bladed introduce STS and LTS:
The STS and LTS policy allows Bladed to be released more often, without having to support and apply bug fixes to a large number of released Bladed versions. This means that users can benefit for new functionality sooner rather than waiting for annual releases.
