Sometimes when you have a long Bladed calculation running on a laptop it is necessary to move the laptop and disrupt the network conection. If the Bladed calculation involved reading or writing from files accessed through the network, the whole calculaiton might fail before you have a chance to restor the network connection.
Pause the calculation.
Open the dtbladed or dtsignal comand window
Right click on the window title bar and select Edit->Mark
Select some text in the comand window and the calculation wil pause
You can now safely disrupt the network connection
To resume just press Enter
This relies on the calculaiton command window being available. If the calculation was run from Bladed Batch then it is necessary to configure Bladed Batch to show console windows before starting the calculation.
